WINEMAKING PROCESS AND VINTAGE
Grape variety: 100% Cayetana
A regional wine from Extremadura
How it is made: We extract the best quality free-run juice by gently crushing our grapes upon their arrival by gravity at the pneumatic press in order to prevent unwanted alterations in the sensory characteristics of the wine.
Fermentation is carried out at 12ºC in 17,000 litre truncated cone-shaped stainless steel vats.
This white wine is perfect with all kinds of fish and shellfish, pasta with mild sauces, rice dishes and salads.
Serving temperature: 9- 10ºC
Bright pale straw-yellow colour characteristic of a young white wine.
On the nose you are able to detect the great aromatic complexity of our native grape variety Cayetana, with undertones of banana and pineapple, hints of apple, grapefruit and mango, and a subtle touch of dried fruits and nuts.
On the palate you are able to perceive the distinctive characterisitics of our grapes. It is long and mouth-filling, and the aromas found on the nose are reflected in the mouth. This wine is fine and elegant, fresh and bold, and its character is an indication of our constant attention to detail throughout the entire winemaking process.
