WINEMAKING PROCESS AND VINTAGE
A young red wine aged for 4 months
A regional wine from Extremadura
Grape varieties: Tempranillo and Syrah
How it is made: Cold maceration for 10-12 days, alcoholic fermentation at 14.5ºC and delestage fermentation to extract a deeper colour.
Ageing period: This wine is aged for 4 months in 500 litre French oak barrels (fine grain and medium toast) made of wood from the Allier forest.
Elaboración: Maceración en frío durante 10-12 días, fermentación alcohólica a 14´5ºC, remontados por “delestages” para extracción de color.
Crianza: Durante 4 meses en barricas de 500 lts de roble del bosque francés Allier, tostados medios y grano fino.
This red wine is perfect with creamy cheeses, Iberian ham, Iberian pork, and soups and stews made with all kinds of pulses.
Serving temperature: 15- 18ºC
The olfactory and gustatory sensations perceived make this wine distinctive and instantly recognizable. It is full-bodied and well-structured.
Dark cherry red colour with a violet rim. Aromas of ripe fruit, berries (blackberry and blueberry) and hints of coffee with well-integrated oak notes.
